Xinzhongshan Linear Park
The area of “MRT Zhongshan Station Area” spans from MRT Zhongshan Station to Shuanglian Station. It comprises Zhongshan Underground Book Street, MRT Linear Park, the sunken plaza behind Rapid Transit Administration Building, and Zhongshan underground Jazz Square, forming a green corridor.
The street is dotted with creative stores, creative studios and design studios, each having its own characteristics, making it an ideal place for a leisurely stroll down the alleys.

SPOT-Taipei

Rainbow Six
On the 17th of May 2019, Taiwan became the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage. Taipei City, thanks to the efforts of various organizations, set up rainbow landscaping, the "Rainbow Six", at exit No.6 of Ximen MRT Station on the 25th of September, symbolizing Taipei City's respect for human rights and its active efforts in promoting sex equality and gender friendliness. This new rainbow landscape also became a popular tourist check-in attraction of Taipei City.

The Red House
The Red House was constructed in 1908 by Japanese architect Kondo Juro, which was the first government-built public market in Taiwan and also the most well-preserved Class III historic building in the nation. The Red House consists of “Bagua" shaped Octagonal Display Hall as the grand entrance for it’s meaning— people visiting from all around the world, a characteristic Cruciform Building as main construction and adjacent South and North squares.

Dadaocheng Wharf
Dadaocheng Wharf is located along the banks of the Tamsui River, at what is now Gate 5 (the intersection of Huanhe North Road and Minsheng West Road). The development of Dadaocheng is closely tied to the history of the wharf. When Tamsui was opened as a treaty port, foreign trading companies flocked to the area, establishing businesses that contributed to Dadaocheng’s prosperity. Although the wharf no longer serves its original function, it has since been transformed into a popular leisure and recreational destination.
In recent years, Dadaocheng Wharf has become a venue for fireworks displays during festive celebrations. Additionally, a riverside cycling path has been built along the shore, allowing visitors to enjoy a leisurely bike ride while taking in the historic charm of Dadaocheng.

Chifeng Street
The area in Chifeng Street and Chengde Road, between MRT Shuanglian Station and MRT Zhongshan Station, used to primarily sell automotive parts and hardware and is thus known as the “blacksmith street”.
Today’s Chifeng Street is dotted with hipster cafes, art museums and specialty restaurants, which adds artistic ambience to the old street and ancient houses and attracts many visitors. Chifeng Street is a nice place for sipping a leisurely cup of afternoon tea and enjoying some artistic air.
